You Can Be a Hero

In the summer of 2020, Bridger shielded his little sister Brielle as a dog came charging at them.  The resulting injury left Bridger with over 90 stitches on his face.  Brielle was a very tiny 4-year-old, and Bridger was barely 6, but his love for his sister inspired people around the world.

As a family, the Walkers have since discussed, what makes a hero?  Is it a great big act or sacrifice – or can heroes be found in the normal, everyday people?  This book is a result of these discussions.  For most people, their heroes are found in seemingly small acts.  A true hero does the little things every day.  Even if it is hard or scary, they just keep showing up and doing their best.
